This girl continuing her education at Oklahoma State University and the University of Texas at Arlington, and in 1968 married Michael Brown. She began her profession writing romance novels, the first being released in 1981. In 1987 she moved into the mainstream fiction industry, and in 1990 Mirror Image made the New York Times bestseller list.
